What to do, when you are too young to be a senator or even a jaycee? The house of Mr. Clutterbuck in Sastamala welcomes all the children (and parents too)! The House of Mr. Clutterbuck is based on the beloved stories of artist Mauri Kunnas. Kunnas was born in 1950 in Vammala (now called Sastamala), where he spent his childhood and youth. Mauri kunnas has published over 40 books which have been translated into 30 languages and published in 32 countries. The house of Mr. Clutterbuck presents the most popular stories in a form of a playhouse, where the children can really get into the stories through play. On the yard of the house there is Mr. Clutterbuck’s Fun on Wheels Yard where the chlidren can ride around in pedal cars. Even the smallest drivers, under 3 years old, have their own track in the Fun on Wheels track.
A lunch is served in the cafeteria of literature museum Pukstaavi, right next to Mr. Clutterbuck’s house. Children will be accompanied by JCI Vammala jaycees who speak English, Swedish, French, Italian and German.
